A new team, new website & new branding projects…
What’s new?
June has been a productive and busy month at Studio B61! Firstly, we welcomed our newest team member Charly to the team. She became our Junior Designer at the start of June and has already got stuck into loads of projects. We love working with her and are excited to watch her develop and grow as a designer.
New team members wasn’t all that was new this month – We also launched our shiny new website which we’ve been working on for several months now. Have a browse while you are here and check out our new service – Aerial Drone Photography.
Another new business gets the B61 brand treatment…
This month we’ve worked on a branding project for Jane Leedham Property Consultants. We created a corporate brand identity and added some pops of colour to jazz it up and stand out from the crowd. What do you think? We love geometric shapes in design.
Getting to know our clients better…
We are lucky to get to work with lots of companies all over the UK, but it’s always great to be able to meet so many of our more local clients. This month we had a guided tour of one of our newest clients, In 2 Components. Richard gave us a tour of their office and warehouse in Redditch which helped us get a better insight into how they work and how we can help them.
We also had the privilege to go on the 25 year anniversary tour of HMP Hewell this month. We’ve worked for HMP Hewell for almost a year now. The celebratory tour invited family members of the prison staff to see an insight into the working environment of their family so they can see what it is like to work within a challenging environment. We’d like to thank HMP Hewell for giving us the opportunity to be a part of their team on a daily basis, and love to see how they are giving back to the staff with events like this one.
Taking to the skies…
Hannah and our new Drone Photographer, Alec took on a large ground & drone photography job this month for one of our property clients, Harris Lamb. Since gaining his license in May, Alec has been up in the skies photographing several sites across the Midlands and we’ve been receiving great feedback on the shots.
Follow Alec on Instagram for the shots which will be released soon @studiob61_alec. He’s also off to the Alps over the next 2 weeks, so there will definitely be some epic drone shots appearing on his instagram in July!
Talking of photography, Hannah took part in an @igersworcestershire photography meet up this month on the Clent Hills. They organised a night time photography session with light painting group @UK_Knights.
The freezing temperature at 1am on the hills was well worth it for shots like this…
In other photography news, Charly has a brand new FujiFilm X-A3 Camera… and it’s pink (of course!). Get ready to see some brilliant new Instagrams photos on her account @studiob61_charly over the next few weeks, as she will be snapping away at every opportunity.
