Our photo studio gets muddy, smokey, festive & goes mobile

Posted by Hannah on

What has our team been up to throughout November?

This month’s edit is all photography! We promise we are graphic designers too, just a lot of our design work is in progress or covered by NDAs. We hope you enjoy a glimpse behind the scenes of our photography work throughout November…

The studio goes up in smoke (Again!)

We started the month off with a product photoshoot in our studio. We photographed SBXtreme‘s  first range of products last year and they returned this month with their new product releases. These shots are going to seriously stand out online – We used coloured gel lights and cans of smoke to make some impact.

It’s always great fun shooting products for SBX – This time we tried out something different with mud, and things got messy!

It’s not often a photographer has to really get their hands dirty!

We were joined on the shoot by Jasmin, who contacted us for some work experience in photography.

Our studio goes mobile for Alec’s first experience of baby photography

Alec had his first experience of baby photography this month with a photoshoot of baby Oscar – A world away from his usual sports photography! Alec took the mobile studio to the clients home for a more comfortable and stress free experience for the new parents.

“I think I was very lucky to have such a chilled happy baby for my first baby shoot. Thanks to the Pegg family for welcoming me into their home and I am glad they love the photos.” – Alec

Kicking off the festive season

Hannah was also photographing little ones this month, this time in the studio with 2 year old Flynn. It was a great way to start off the festive season, with a Christmas themed photo shoot!

“I love all the space in the new photography studio, and the wooden vinyl flooring we had installed works great in photos” – Hannah

A jam packed day of event photography for Alec at the Rimilia Insight event

Alec was out for a full day of event photography for Rimilia at their first annual event #RimiliaInsight2019. Attendees unearthed the real value of AI technology for their business, unlocked new strategies from savvy finance leaders, and got a first look at Rimilia’s transformative Finance Relationship Management (FRM) approach.

It was a double camera (and coffee) day for Alec. He was there throughout the whole event capturing the speakers on stage and behind the scenes for their social media team to share.

Rimilia get’s two mentions this month!

In last months edit we shared our photo of Kevin, Rimilia CEO, on the front cover of an American magazine… Well this month our photo was in the national papers – Did you spot our photography in the Sunday Times?

Make sure you’re following us throughout December

We did it last year, and we’re doing it again… We are doing a daily photo challenge throughout December over on our Instagram, so make sure to follow us! We have a prompt every day to theme our daily photo. So far Hannah and Alec are doing well at keeping up with the challenge (But we are only on day 4!). Do you think we’ll keep up with the challenge every day? We’ll let you know in next months edit.
