What has our team been up to throughout October?
A day in the life of ARCC
The month kicked off with an exciting project for Alec, our drone pilot, as he headed off to Manchester to spend the day on site with ARCC Communications. Alec was documenting the work ARCC were doing at Whitefield Tram station. He spent the day capturing photos and video footage of the team at work, both from the ground and above using the drone.
“This was a dream job for a drone pilot – The whole area was closed for health & safety and the trams were stopped while ARCC worked, so I had the luxury of launching and landing the drone from the roof of an empty multi-story car park.” – Alec
These images will be used by ARCC in case studies and presentations to demonstrate their work to potential clients.
In the press
Our relocation hit the press this month with features on several websites, including Business & Innovation Magazine, Midlands Business News, Worcester News, Bromsgrove Advertiser and Kidderminster Shuttle. We’ve had a really positive response from the press release with many students in the area contacting us for work experience. We have already started welcoming them into the studio to see what we do and we look forward to giving more opportunities for experience in the new year.
We’ve been settling into our new premises well throughout October – Like any renovation project, there is lots still to be done but we have received great feedback so far from our clients who have visited the new premises.
Alec’s photos get wings with Red Bull
The results from a night shoot with Alan Milway earlier this month, were selected to feature on a blog post on the official Red Bull site – A really exciting achievement for our adrenaline junkie photographer!
Hannah has also been doing some work with Alan Milway this month, giving his website an over hall. The existing site was looking dated, so Hannah has been working on improving the usability of the site and making the site overall more visually on brand and up to date. www.milway.co.uk
Cover stars: A first for Studio B61
Not once, not twice but three times featured this month! Remember when both Hannah’s went down to London? Well, one of our shots of Kevin Kimber, CEO of Rimilia, was featured on the front cover of the October edition of CFO Tech Outlook magazine. CFO Tech Outlook is an American magazine aimed at Chief Financial Officers, highlighting trends and latest technologies to help drive corporate performances.
“This is the first time I’ve had our photography featured on the front cover of a magazine – A proud moment!” – Hannah D
More Branding for Brood
Hannah finalised another logo for the Brood Group this month. Last year she designed several logos for the group and their sub-brands, and they recently asked us to design a logo for their new venture ‘Brood Food’.
